One of the most rewarding parts of this work is being invited into these little, but BIG moments of a family’s life. From holding their brand new baby first thing in the morning—those quiet, sleepy snuggles that somehow set the tone for my whole day (and it's always a good day after that) To watching older siblings step into their roles with so much personality.

It might sound cliché, but getting to watch families grow over the years really is something special. You start to see their rhythm, their inside jokes, the way each kid’s personality unfolds a little more every time.

This family especially—there’s just so much life and laughter in everything they do.  This session had me smiling the whole time—laughing, soaking it in, and thinking… "yeah, this is it. This is what it’s all about."

It’s that real, genuine, happy kind of life. and you can already see these kids are growing up surrounded by love, in something really, really good.

And baby Boston—just perfect.

A milk-drunk belly, and that melt-into-everything kind of sleep.  And the hair… I mean, come on. SO much hair. There was no way I was keeping that covered up all session—I couldn’t do it. It needed its moment.
